What it doesMirrors and audits websites whose owners have signed up for Lifeline and proven they control the site (verification file, meta tag or a Cloudflare token scoped to the zone).
How oftenOne uptime request per minute to the homepage, and a full crawl every 6–24 hours at about four requests at a time.
robots.txtDisallow rules for * and LifelineBot are honoured.
FormsInspected, never submitted.
Challenged by Cloudflare?Add a WAF custom rule: if User Agent contains “LifelineBot” → Skip (managed rules, Bot Fight Mode, rate limiting).
Didn't sign up?Someone would have had to place a verification token on your site. Block the user agent and write to abuse@lifeline.dev.
