The service
Lifeline (operated by WC Ventures LLC) monitors websites you register, keeps snapshots of their public pages, can serve those snapshots through your own Cloudflare account during an outage, and reports problems it finds. The service is provided as-is during beta and may change or be interrupted.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 or have consent from a legal guardian.
Sites you add
You may only add sites you own or are authorised to manage. Verification (a file, a meta tag or a zone-scoped Cloudflare token) is required before Lifeline mirrors anything. You are responsible for the content of your sites and for what a snapshot of them shows to visitors.
Cloudflare access
Connecting Cloudflare lets Lifeline upload a Worker to your account and attach or remove routes on the zone you scoped. Lifeline uses this access only to serve your snapshot during an outage or a drill you start. You can revoke the token in Cloudflare at any time.
No guarantees
Lifeline reduces the impact of outages; it cannot eliminate them. Snapshots may be stale or incomplete, checks may miss or misreport problems, and failover may fail if Cloudflare's API is unavailable. We are not liable for lost revenue, data or reputation arising from downtime or from anything a snapshot shows.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lifeline to mirror sites you do not control, to circumvent access controls, or to overload third-party servers. We may suspend accounts that do.
Fees
The service is free during beta. Paid plans, when introduced, will be billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time.
Termination
You can delete a site or your account at any time; snapshots and history are removed. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms with notice where practical.
Changes
We will announce material changes to these terms by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect.
